My Current Thoughts On Kamen Rider Series Part Three

Alright this one will actually have an easy theme to work with. I am focusing on the three shows after Kamen Rider Double, but I will go in order of Wizard, Fourze, and OOO. There is a very special reason why I am going to save OOO for last. I will admit I know the flak I got for loving Wizard when it was originally airing. Now as you can clearly see, I still have Wizard in the background because one I am lazy, but the other reason is that this background was made by a friend of mine so I will probably keep it because of that. For Kamen Rider Wizard, out of the three I will be mentioning this is still my personal favorite. I can easily agree that one of the other shows is stronger and that is the difference of a favorite and knowing when something is just better. Again that is all opinionated and if you feel your favorites are the best masterpieces around, you have the freedom to say that. For me as a critic, I need to know my personal favorites because it helps find out who I am and then just knowing what is simply a more well put together program is important for analyzing. Then both of these are important for when you want to recommend shows to other people. So let us actually get to the topic of Wizard and why it is still my personal favorite out of the shows that came after Double.

Kamen Rider Wizard

Why does Kamen Rider Wizard stand out to me as a person? One thing is that I may not be big on magic based heroes, I do love it when they are done with jewelry, weapons, and summons. A great example of this would be M.A.R not the best show, but it was fun to watch what different types of powers and magical weapons there were. In terms of designs, Wizard stands out with the jewel concepts and I love the use of black to make the other colors stand out. For the beginning of the action, I was a big fan of the action, Wizard had a great style of fighting and I will admit, when he got more powers some of those fights did lower in quality. There were some bad uses of CGI and there were good ones as well. I still enjoy the reveal of Water Dragon and the use of the Dragon summon fighting against the Phantoms inside others. I feel the Phantom concept was stronger than the Worms because of how they complete erase a person and will still have their memories which makes them extremely dangerous because of how they can interact with others. The story of how things simply went out of control because of one man's ambition is cliche I will admit that, but in the end the main story was not the focus of the show. Now that is a flaw in itself and it is hard to ignore. To me though, Wizard did have a strong focus on their filler episodes because of the concept of hope and despair. Haruto was helping out others to find their hope and while Haruto did hold onto his to become Wizard, he still needed to find some answers on his own. I find the show to be extremely helpful in regards to facing your despair and sometimes it does require a helping hand. Kamen Rider Beast while his story was simple, I can say his process of becoming a selfless person was fun, encouraging, and bit of a learning experience to how people can change. I even enjoy his motif of being a stage magician which inspired me to create a rider with the same motif, Trickster. No one in the cast actually bugged me and while some characters were wasted like the Mages, it was still a fun concept and had moments still. So with Kamen Rider Wizard it does hit many personal spots for me and it made it special for me to watch and I still remember many of the episodes and moments the show had. If it did focus a bit more on some story points we would probably have a bigger focus on the Mages and the White Mage, but in the end I am still happy to what Wizard was. So for my personal thoughts, Wizard still comes off as an A, but I will admit the show is a bit more of a B or B-

I still keep my opinions about Sora/Gremlin.

Kamen Rider Fourze

I have to say that with some great talks with my fellow Toku Warriors, mostly Janitor Joker. It did give me a bigger appreciation of this show. For Zolda, he extremely loves this show and when I first saw it, I did enjoy it. Now these days I am still rather mixed, but I see it in a better light than I originally did. It is hard for a show to do multiple characters that effect a story and that is probably one of Fourze's biggest achievements. The Kamen Rider Club was full of colorful characters and all had their own importance and even crucial story moments. For many the whole friendship angle can be beaten to death and while Fourze does follow it, the show performs the concept to where things feel nice and warm. By that I mean that the show can surprisingly be strong in showing how friends our made even if these people are completely different. Gentaro who dresses like a punk is actually the nicest person around and he makes a unique group of friends. We got the jock, the cheerleader, the goth, the spaz, the genius, the talented one who first starts out like a bully, and then someone who hides his pain. It really collects a lot of tropes and it has been done before and yet Fourze still has a nice smell to it. It felt natural for the most part in regards to friendship and it does not stop there are many others that Gentaro befriends, even teachers! Now something similar to Wizard, I did enjoy the concept of Fourze's weapons as well. Some were a bit silly and were not even weapons and yet some can be used for different purposes. My personal favorite is the Pen Switch because it was bizarre idea for a weapon and I wished it was used more. I can admit though some were just tossed out. The show did experiment around with them though as one of my favorite moments is when Fourze is just boarding along with with his claw. Cosmic States really holds up to be one of the best final forms around in terms of design and powers. Now one thing that did hurt the show was the villains. I am not talking about the Gamou and his loyal men, Libra, Virgo, and Leo. The rest of the Zodiarts were a bit lackluster though. When Cancer first came into the show, I enjoyed the hell out of him. The fun did not last long though and he was taken out by one of the most ridiculous forms and attacks in Kamen Rider history. Scorpio was good as well and had a good twist on who that actually was, but again when you keep moving on, you soon just forget about it though. Other Zodiarts were then just used for MOTW and while were still good, it would be more amusing if they were bigger villains in the end. The switch use got mixed up a bit in variety which was good and Meteor still had some awesome fights even if his character did just kind of stopped after his story was resolved. At least they still have Ryusei some funny moments and a girlfriend that all the fans want! So overall Fourze and Wizard do have similarities, but Fourze did have a more concrete story. So it is around the B+ area.

Kamen Rider OOO

I remember when I first watched OOO and I can still see my initial thoughts on the show. I praised it pretty well back then and there is Maki who I put as my favorite villain. I have to take back both of these claims. First I have a bone to pick with OOO in regards to what it did to Kamen Rider. We all remember Foundation X from Double. Riku Sanjo wanted to make the new Shocker and while Fourze did bring them back, sadly OOO easily caused a problem of not using Foundation X. There was even a connection in Kamen Rider Double where the foundation was researching the medals. What do we get in place of them, Kougami. While I love the guy's voice, what is reall his purpose in the show? That is pretty much what OOO is, what is the point? Eiji was a traveler and because of his past he did start to have desires, we learned that, then it takes like how many episodes for it to come to fruition? Eiji has a character was quite questionable as well because he is just watered down Godai and I can't believe I put this guy in my favorite characters list before! The Greeed were weak as villains and I still keep true to that. They got heavily ignored when Maki became the big villain and to be honest it is pointless as well. Literally it could have been anyone else who had interest in the Greeed. Then there was Maki's backstory with his sister and I remember originally liking that, but in the end that does not really connect to much. Things just happen in OOO and it just feels cluttered and messy. The whole concept of OOO was poorly handled as literally medals are thrown to the camera because you need to buy these things! The designs for OOO were messy when it was random combos and I will admit I personally like the random combos more though. The use of their powers had to be thought out, but even the writers gave up and just focused on the main combos. I still like most of the main combos as well, but some got overused and others were only ignored for budget reasons. The show just feels poorly planned because I do like the first Gatakiriba fight, but after that this form is so underused. At least the movie did something silly yet cool with that form. We even have Hina and her only connection to the story is because of Ankh using her brother's body and that was just by chance. I will say that I did heavily enjoy both Gotou and Date. Both Kamen Rider Briths were simply fun to watch for me. Gotou was a hero in progress and Date was the hero already that got to teach Gotou. It is Torodoki and Zanki again and while those two were better in the categories of, effective fighters, better development, and better weapons. Still Date was extremely fun as a character and gave the show the best humorous moments. I just feel bad for Birth in the end though, they just never stand a chance in any battle and yet Gotou could take down like three Greeeds when he first became Birth in the show. Then their is Ankh, I still like him and him becoming a threat later on was not shocking, but still fun in the end. Ankh slowly become more humane was enjoyable because meanwhile other Greeeds were just being... dumb. I can believe that Gamou was dumb and yet everyone else was not smart as well. The show's pacing is horrid, most of the fights were forgettable, the concept of OOO's powers are poorly handled, most of the characters are just boring, and yet it sold well. If you want to see how OOO could have been done well, just watch episode three and four of Kamen Rider Double.

Now do not get me started about OOO during the War movies!

Cosmic Power and Rider Keys!!!

Along with the upcoming Meteor Storm form the new form for Fourze has been revealed as Cosmic States. Now this does look like a final form, but I just have a feeling that this won't be the last form. The first thing I loved about this form is that the helmet looks really great! The usual rocket shape is still there, but the designs on the helmet itself looks very well done, but the red eyes does make this Fourze look evil. Along with new form comes another weapon which seems to be a sword again?

So this sword is called Barizun Sword and it will have two forms, a cover form which will make a rocket like weapon. The other form is a sword, but unlike Elek States this sword can work with more switches, mostly the circle switches, but by the form it seems Fourze will have easier access to the other switches. Meteor's new weapon is the HakkouKaiten Meteor Storm Shaft it seems the windmill thing at the top is the new switch. This weapon right now though looks really simple and can be used effectively, but who knows how the series could use this.

Now the time has finally come, the OOO keys! This means more rider keys are going to be made possibly and they will probably be on the new Mobirate. I can't wait to see the Gokaigers use these keys even though there are seven. Also I was hoping that they used Fourze's States forms because we already saw all the OOO forms fight together. Another new switch is coming as well the Super 3 switch and it will bring Fourze the Drill States, which hasn't been shown yet. Now this is going to be odd now, I wanted a States form that isn't only a circle switch, but what will happen when Fourze tries to use another States form switch? By the picture next to it as well I think the new robot from Go-busters will be using Rockets and Drills? Decade could be behind this because of the Final Form cards he has. This has been done before with Decade's final form as he turned into his own belt so Fourze will be doing the same. I wonder if OOO will have his final form in the movie as well. The Taisen movie just keeps getting more awesome news and I can't wait to see the Go-busters using his powers.

Anything Goes Ballad PV

Well with the series over and soon the last time we will see OOO for a while in the Megamax movie is coming soon we get the ballad version of the opening theme. For some reason I always like these type of songs. It is the same song, but the tone makes it feel different and the music video itself can make it feel different as well. The video is mostly showing clips of the past PV for Anything Goes and clips of Ankh as OOO sees them and start to remember past events. Band members including the singer, Maki Ohguro appear later in the video. Overall a pretty basic video, but the song and mood make it feel pretty strong with emotion.

MEGAMAX Full Trailer

A new and much longer trailer has been released for the upcoming rider war movie MEGAMAX! Also we finally hear what Nadeshiko sounds like at first when she says "Henshin" I was a little annoyed, but when she goes "Uchuu Kita" I had to go "Kawaii!" We all know what the plots are for the movies, but I will say them. OOO revolves around a new enemy named Kamen Rider Poseidon as Eiji needs to return and it seems that Ankh is around somehow. We will also see Gotou and Date back as the Twin Births so I hope they get a great fight together. There is also a high chance that Kamen Rider Meteor will make his first appearance in this film as he could just be at the end or could team up with our heroes. Fourze's story revolves around a mysterious girl falling from the sky during a cultural festival as Gentaro befriends her. She is also a Kamen Rider as she has a similar belt to Fourze's. Then there are also the Seven Legendary Riders who are fighting off Foundation X as we see them in the beginning of the trailer. Soon everything will connect as the heroes will team up along with new riders, there will be appearances from Double as the two private dicks will help. Overall this will probably be the best war movie yet since it seems that there shouldnt be any plot holes like the last one with OOO. Then seeing old riders again is always a nice treat and I have a feeling we will see more of them soon.

New Scans: Bootleging and Teaming Up

Well the scans for the new Gokaiger and Gavan movie are finally coming out as we get to see the villian of the movie. His name is Gavan Bootleg who is hired to arrest Gavan?! I have to say this villian looks epic because he gets the same shiny suit like Gavan, but the red lines and eyes really work well making him look evil. Gavan also looks great as well as his suit got updated as it is very shiny. I cannot wait for the upcoming fights with Gavan, Metal Heroes could be brought back to life!

Also a much better picture of Fourze's Rocket States along with Super TaToBa. I really like the Rocket States as the orange, blue, and silver work well together and that Drill Kick is going to be even more powerful now. Now I will say this now with more images of Super TaToBa I guess I'm starting to like it a little more, by the previews the colors looked a lot darker, but in the scans it looks a little brighter which is good. I still rather have Putotyra as the final form though.

Even more scans of Meteor have been released as well and now with his motorcycle as it looks awsome. Thats one great thing I'm liking about Kamen Rider now these days as the motorcycle is getting more focus. It reminds me of the past riders as the motorcycle started to die around Hibiki. They were shown during those past series, but not that much which is kinda weird because they are riders. Oh well I really can't wait for Meteor as it looks like the secondary rider could be better than the main for my opinion again (four times in a row).

New Megamax Movie Poster

A new poster is now revealed as we now see the seven riders, Aqua, and Nadeshiko. We still have the moon like the previous poster. This time Fourze takes most of the poster with his Rider Rocket Drill Kick as OOO is 2nd with his head. Sadly no new images of Rocket States is shown so far, but thank goodness they didnt show Super TaToBa on the cover.

Now I also want to talk about some rather sad news about an actor from Kamen Rider Den-o. Yuichi Nakamura is quiting his singing group called D-BOYS so he can recover. I actually didnt even hear of him having any issues, but it seems he had it even before Sabara Kamen Rider Den-o which now explains why he had less appearances in the other Den-o movies. It seems thats it cronical pain he had for a while and now recently it has been getting a lot worse where he can barely do anything. I'm glad he is focusing on his health right now and I really hope he can recover. Yuichi is a great actor and I'm hoping we can see him in more roles and to continue his singing carrer, but first he has to recover so good luck Yuichi.

New Reveals: Super TaToBa, Rocket and Magnet States, and Meteor

I have been gone a while and I'm sorry about that it. I have been busy the last couple of days. Well with a new trailer of Megamax out we see the new form for OOO which people are saying will be the final form.

I need to say this though, I dont like this new form at all. I like the taka part, but everything else doesnt fit at all. The black that OOO's body had gave more design for the colors, but now yellow and green dominate the suit. It looks like someone threw up on him. Maybe when I see it fight I could be fine, but I rather have Putotyra as the final form. Also I dont like the rumors that to access this form the switches have to set backwards so Batta will be first and Taka will be last as Tora stays in the middle. It seems dumb and pointless because you could have just made three new medals because with all of this time disortion plots for the movie it sounds more possible.

There is also a better look at Rocket States which looks better than I thought from a previous image. The new S-1 switch is a little too big, but I guess it makes sense because I think all the form change switches will be for the right slot. Also the switch is called S-1 which makes me think about Super-1 and this could be hinting a possible team up with him. The orange actually looks nice as it also has silver and blue which balances well. I wonder how the limit break will work for this one, I guess he just has to hit it.

Now there are images of another form which will be the form that will made Fourze's head increase in size. I thought it was going to look stupod when I heard about the head becoming bigger, but the by this image the design will use it well because the suit will also get a little bigger as well. I really like the idea of having two switches to make the form and its pretty smart because of North and South like the magnetic poles. Fourze will also get cannons on his shoulders. The color doesnt fit the monster from Metalder, but overall this form looks good so far.

Now my favorite new design so far is the secondary rider of Fourze, Meteor. I really like the suit itself because of the star design and the blue is a very nice touch for the black suit. Sadly though his belt is kinda ugly and it looks like Birth's belt. There is also the huge devices on his right hand I mean damn those are big, but they will have a lot of power no doubt. The switch this rider will use has no number which means that a lot of more switches without numbers will appear in upcoming movies or the series. I am a little mad that my idea for Meteor is gone now. I will probably have to call him Comet, but high chance that will be Meteor's final form. Reminding me of final forms there are rumors about Fourze's final form being called Apollo States which sounds awsome, but it is said to be switch number 40 so I think it is real, but not the final form.

Kamen Rider Meteor, OOO Super TaToBa, and Double Rocket Fourze

Well pictures of the secondary rider have been appearing and no his name isnt Grey its Meteor and this isnt confirmed yet so always be ready for something else. Now I have to change one of my riders, dang. Well it seems this rider is from Mars who will warn Gen about a space war. He will also be a transfer student in the school even though hes from space....ok. Well besides that I really love the design of this rider! At first I was thinking he would be a red rider, but no hes blue and it works great. There has been more blue in rider recently, Nadeshiko has some blue, Poseidon has a blue head, and Aqau is completely blue. I wonder if there will be a water or ice form for Fourze because thats even more blue. Well with this rider's helmet it looks pretty damn awsome that resembles a meteor and high chance the reason why he is blue is because of Granzel. I bet when we first see him in action or see much clearer pictures we can find some other good similarites between him and Granzel. Sadly I cant see his belt that much, but so far it looks pretty big which could be bad. Overall I really cant wait for this alien rider to fight along with Fourze.

The same goes with these pictures as nothing is confirmed yet. With these pictures we see the Super TaToBa and Fourze's Double Rocket from which will probably be called Rocket States. First lets start with Super TaToBa its an interesting form and high chance it will become the final form for OOO which is why Putotrya isnt the final form. I bet these medals are from the past because the film is going to have time disortion so they could be from the past or from the future. I like seeing the TaJaDol head on the form and to make sure it doesnt look odd they updated the rest of the body. It looks pretty good and high chance it will look better in the movie. Now I talk about Rocket States, I would like to start off with the orange color. It really stands out big time and the rumors were false because I think his head is the same size and that monster from Metalder didnt have orange. This time Fourze will have blue eyes with some blue on his chest. I really do like the idea of two rocket switchs, but using the Limit Break would be tough dont you think? Also how would he use other switches if he has both rockets? I bet the series will have someway of doing this because the form will fall flat if he cant acess the switches while having two rockets. So good images today and not bad overall in designs. I really cant wait for Meteor though he looks awsome!

Kamen Rider Megamax Update and Gokaiger vs Gavan Confirmed!

Yup the next rider movie is coming up soon and here we see the original seven riders. Also Nigo gets the black helmet like in the Stronger team up thank goodness we can tell Ichigo and Nigo apart more easily. By this picture Gen is acting like himself as he tries to talk to them, but Eiji is warning him for some reason. Another thing does Eiji remember what happened in the All Rider movie or will he forget because high chance they changed the times back to normal so will the original riders even remember him? Well Fourze's story is when the school is having a festival and Gen is writing about the urban legends, the Kamen Riders. A new group of villians appear called Dustard which is supposed to be mean star dust. Also a new rider appears as we know its Nadeshiko as she is called the female Fourze as she as a similar belt.

Dopants and Yummies, awsome!

OOO's story starts after the ending of the series as Eiji is being called to come back to Kougami. A meteorite crashes onto the Earth and a time disortion starts as we see the villian Miharu Minato as he has three core medals that he uses to become Poseidon. Also Miharu knows Kougami, so what is their connection and (SPOLIER ALERT!!!!!!!!) Ankh will somehow come back its probably because of the time disortion as everyone else will be back as well. Then we all know that somehow the stories will connect as the two main riders fight a villian. This time they will have the help of the seven riders and I'm still curious about the black man rumor and who could this villian be, I am still sticking with Titan on this because he is my favorite villian from Stronger.

Also the Gokaiger and Gavan team up as been confirmed as it will appear January 21st as it seems Gavan and Doggie are friends which does make sense because the space sheriffs did have other allies if I remember correctly. Now I know some fans will go why have a single hero team up with a team of five. Its been done before with Decade and Shinkenger and Saban did it with MMPR and Masked Rider (that one really sucked). I think both movies will be awsome though as Fourze is doing great right now as a series and the movie looks awsome, but I'm wondering when will Double join in and when is another Returns movie going to come out. Then seeing a Metal Hero again will be nice because it will be nice to see how they will use new graphics with Gavan.



Kamen Rider Fourze and OOO MEGAMAX 1st Trailer (Spoliers to OOO)

Well the trailer is already out for the next team up movie, but this one will include a lot more than previous ones. First we get our main heroes of course with their own stories probably as OOO will have to face a new rider who uses core medals Poseidon. Fourze will focus around a new female rider and the many sightings of zoidarts. Also the villians who are using the switches are people from the organization from kamen rider double. High chance they are the ones who found the three new core medals and are focusing on a new project the switches. The movie will also include Ichigo, Nigo who looks different again he keeps switching around first he looks like Ichigo now hes back with the black helmet. Also Stronger and Double will fight along in this movie so I am very hyped about it. It seems that this movie is going to connect to other series like with Double and the organzation. Im just hoping the writing will be very good because they have to explian how..................... (Spoiler!) Ankh comes back. So not only we will get the two main heroes, but two new riders, and four veteran riders this better be really good.

Kamen Rider OOO X Fourze Megamax Pictures

It hasnt even been a month since OOO ended and yet pictures for the new team up movie are already out. First I'm happy to see that both births are back to fight and is it me because I dont see a prototype in the picture. The biggest news is the two new riders, Kamen Rider Nadeshiko and Kamen Rider Poseidon. OOO now will have a movie rider like most rider series do and Fourze is already getting one as well. Now with new core medals that means there could be more new medals and could OOO use them? I will start with Poseidon, an interesting design I have to say. First his medals are diff colors I mean red with two diff shades of blue is odd. The top part looks very original, but his legs look like Condol legs sort of. His medals are Shark, Whale, and Jellyfish so more sea based medals? First of all where do these medals come from. Then there is the fact that OOO will transform again no doubt, but I'm still wondering how and I did hear the rumors of (Spoiler Alert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) That Ankh will come back somehow, the writing better cover this and not be like Decade's final movie or I will be pissed!

Next is Nadeshiko and what kind of name is that, first of all what does it mean? Well the design of the helmet reminds me of Fourze and the belt is similar, but blue and it can only use two switches. Maybe this is the prototype the rumors were talking about, but who will be this new female rider. I think its going to be Yuki because it fits her perfectly. The design makes the rider look happy and hyper and I like that is looks like a school uniform as well, It kinda makes me think of Sailor Moon sort of. Again with the helmet whats with the antennas on her head I guess its because of the alien/space motif, but it looks dumb. So this time my biggest compliant about this design is the helmet because this one actually looks bad, but I could start liking it when I see in action.

Now this rider also shares a reference to to a toku hero like OOO's combos have done mostly with TaJaDol and ShaUTa. Poseidon has a simialr belt to the series Chojin Bibyun which was made by Shotaro. This is a big trend now in rider series because it did enter its 40th year so they want to make sure that the original creator will always be remembered. Also Nadeshiko looks like Eve from Wall-E, lol!



I Forgot!

Well in my OOO series review I forgot to mention how OOO also shares a similarity with Kuuga mostly with the Greeed and Grongi, but look at this pic and you will get what I mean.



Kamen Rider OOO Series Review

Well it has been another great rider series this year, OOO was a very well done series and is my 5th fave series out of the franchise. First the story is about a man named Eiji who mostly does little jobs to get money and all he needs his a little change and a fresh pair of underwear. During one of his jobs at the museum he was drugged by two thieves possing as guards. There they find a chest and then the Greeed reawaken from their slumber. A man finds out and sends in troops to fight them, but they are useless facing them as many are defeated or killed. While the man just stays in the building and makes a birthday cake and singing happy birthday to the greeed. Eiji wakes up and soon finds the building is barley anything and police are everywhere. He is asked questions and is sent free, but now he has some sort of coin in his hand. He tried to use it in a vending machine, but he drops it. Eiji tries to get it while an living arm is trying to get it. There he meets a girl who is stronger then usual people as he gets the coin, but the hand appears and freaks the hell out of the girl. The hand tries to talk to Eiji, but he moves on, but one of the Greeeds sends a Yummy after the arm who is called Ankh. The two police officers that Eiji met come to the scene and they are easily defeated. Eiji then tries to help Ankh because he met him and the officers today, there Ankh helps him and gives him the belt and three medals. He uses them with the scanner and transforms into Kamen Rider OOO and fights the Greeed and their Yummies.

Similar to Kuuga, but this time Eiji has a backstory reason for him wanting to help everyone else.

The other characters like Ankh he is a Greeed who for some reason is only an arm, he takes over the young police officer's body so he can move freely. Ankh is trying to get more core medals so that he doesnt become weak and another desire. He helps OOO by giving him medals to fight and knows knowledge of their powers so he can make good combinations with random medals. The sister of the officer was the girl with abnormal strength and she wants Ankh to return her brother Shingo to her, but she doesnt know that if ankh leaves Shingo could die. So she takes both of them to where she works to live so she can make sure her brother is ok. Then there is her boss Chiyoko who is very hyper and active, she is the type of boss that likes to get friendly with everyone. In the foundation which is named after the boss Kougami they look over all the cell medals and collect them for unknown purposes. Kougami is a secert man, but he loves desire and new beginnings that is why we hear him say "Happy Birthday" a lot. There is Satonaka who is mostly Kougami's secetary she doesnt do much, but she can help in big moments. Gotou is a solider for Kougami and he wants to protect this world anyway he can, but through out the story he finds out that he cant do things alone. Maki is a scientist for the foundation he makes inventions that help OOO mostly, but he doesnt care for beginnings, but for the ends. Then there is our secondary rider, Kamen Rider Birth who is Akira Date a man who works to fight so he can reach his dream of 1 million yen (I could be off). For the Greeeds there is Uva who is mostly doing what he did back then he is only doing what he wants. Kazari is different he knows the world has changed and he wants to experiment with this. Mezool is like Uva, but she is more complex cant say how because it will spoil the series. Gamel is the last one of the group and he acts like a child all the time and always hangs around Mezool.

Pros- Like Double this series uses a partner motif with Ankh helping Eiji mostly with medals and detecting Yummies. At first the two are mostly at each other throats, but with great writing and devleopment they become good partners even though they have their share of fights. For the other characters they are great as well, Kougami is funny, Satonaka can be very helpful later in the series, Gotou is my favoirte character because on how much development he got and it really helped the series, Hina is a great supporting character and she does more than the usual support character, Maki is amazing he can be really funny, but also the most serious character of the series, and Date is great mostly because of him acting like a teacher for Gotou which reminds me of Zanki and Torodoki. There are really good filler episodes, the main story episodes are great as well with great writing supporting them. The villian of this series are like the Grongi who woke up and see the new world, but they are all different in someway and that makes their scenes more enjoyable. Fights are nice and quick like Double was making more room for the story, but can leave you wanting more. The ending is a personal favoirte of mine because it really felt like an ending it is similar to Double with a happy, but still sad ending, but it is much better because it will always be a loss for the hero. The motif of this series is Desire and it does perfect with that bringing new ones mostly everytime.

They do share some similarities, but there is more original ideas with this series and its not a bad thing.

Cons- There is a little too much filler and not all of them are great, those episodes get in the way of the villians at times. Also what gets in the way are new additions of villian and the series can lose focus on some of them at times, but at least the good guys arent forgotten. There were also some useless moments in the series like the CLAWS Scorpion which was used once and thats it. The build up for the final episode felt a little rushed and not as dramatic at times for some characters because they were sometimes forgotten (expect for some though).

Good villians, but could have been used a little more

Netural- OOO has the most forms in the whole franchise because of his form relies on three medals and there are like 7 sets and each have a head, body, and leg. Different type of combinations help keep fights feel fresh, but sometimes they dont really do that a lot and heavily use the main combo forms a lot at times. Birth was a great rider, but the series made him look weak at times, but that is for writing purposes because Birth was made to fight Yummies, not Greeed. There can still be great fighting moments for Birth though.

Verdict- OOO is overall a great rider series with good characters, but some are forgotten because of the filler episodes and additions of villians, but with good writing and a strong ending I give it a B+

Confused About The Fourze And OOO Movie (Spoiler Alert for OOO)

Well we all know this was coming, but I saw the ending of OOO and Im confused on how they can do this. Now if you are still reading this without seeing the ending see that first and come back here. Well with that how is this team up going to happen. If you say the ending of OOO you cleary see that all core medals get destroyed when Maki is defeated by OOO TaJaDol form with Ankh's last remaining powers. Also all the destroyed medals were sucked in and forever lost so even have the pieces is impossible. The only core that is still around is Ankh's core which is in two pieces meaning that yes Ankh is dead. So how can OOO fight along with Fourze if he has no cores to use. Also Fourze is in the same world as OOO so they can do any parallel world crap. Maybe they could do the movie before the ending of OOO, because we do know that Fourze will have his powers by then because he helps OOO in the 21 medals movie.

These could be the only medals left, unless something happens in the movie.

I reall hope that there isnt something really dumb like more core medals around because we know thats impossible because they were originally ten for each set of them and one was destroyed so make the greeed. Now during the greeeds final fights we know that their own medals were destroyed because of the purple medals. So that means there are even less for yellow, blue, and white cores. Uva had all of his and other medals before turning into the vessel, but he was destroyed along with Maki which is how the medals are destroyed. There were the king medals, but even they were destroyed by the purple medals inside of Eiji. I just have no idea how this team up will be possible unless they do it before Ankh change sides. I am happy that OOO had an ending that is happy and sad, but whats the point of this team up now if the hero cant even transform, does Eiji have the belt still? So who knows what can happen I just hope that isnt a parllel world or just somehow similar medals pop out of nowhere. It would be worse if the medals come back from their demise because they were clearly destroyed!

Gokai Red Gold Mode? Also OOO Music Video Previews

Well this is interesting, it could be possible that Gokai Red could have a gold mode or it could be the same gold armor it just can be used by the others. This isnt a special gold mode just for red though because when I looked closer I think I see Shinkengold on Red's armor. Also by how the image looks like maybe this is only for the upcoming video game? If Red's gold mode doesnt have the sixth warriors then who? There are 34 red warriors and I know not all of them can fit on there. High chance they will use the red's from a sixth warrior team like ShinkenRed. There is another fact that it could be fake, always count all possibilities and by this imgae it seems that each member probably wont have their own modified version of the gold mode. It makes sense though because Gai made the gold key by himself he could easily do with others and give them to the specific team member. High chance though the gold mode will be like the Shinkengers' Super mode it will be passed along for other memebers to use it.

Also previews for Kamen Rider OOO's songs came out, three of them are out (Im still hoping that Power to Tearer will have one).

This was a pretty cool music video, first seeing Ankh dance was epic and the scenery was pretty nice. The video does look a little over dramatic though.

This is the song I have been waiting for when it was just being rumored. Mostly because Kamen Rider Birth became one of my favoirte riders (whats with secondary riders these days they are so awsome!) Well I dont know why there are dancers in the background they seem a little weird to me. Also Date is awsome with a guitar!

This is the final song preview so far and its a really light hearted and catchy song. Ankh raps in this song which is more epic than his dancing and hearing "Ole" a lot reminds me of ohranger. The main singer is the samurai from the movie. I dont know much about him, but maybe he has a singing profession? So my favorite out of these three by music is Birth's just because Gotou and Date can really sing together and the guitar solo sounds sick! The best video though has to go to the movie song because its nice to look at and I like seeing the main three singing and dancing together. Too bad Gotou and Date werent involved. July 27th is the release of the Full Combo CD which will have all the Combo form themes along with Reverse/Re:Birth and the full music videos.

Srry I wont do any OOO episode reviews

I did one, but I think Im too late to do episode review on this rider series. Its already at episode 41 and a lot of things are happening and I dont want to spoil anything for the series. I know I can say SPOLIER ALERT, but I just done want to ruin the big plot points of the series. I already did once with Birth so I dont want to do that again.

Kamen Rider Birth Changing Gears SPOILERS!

In episode 38 of Kamen Rider OOO continued the arc of Date's changing sides as he wants to reach his goal of one million. Everyone is attacked, OOO by Mezol, Gamel, and Date. Gotou was attacked by Date, but only one punch knocking him out and Ankh had to fight Kazari which i found interesting that Ankh can actually sort of fight. Even Maki had some power over Eiji becuase of them both having the purple medals. Eiji is defeated and Maki gains two of his medals, Batta and Ungai. Gotou gets up and makes a ridervendor explode making a canroid swarm. The gang get back to the resturant as Hina finds out about Date, Ankh is the only one who has no confindence in Date while the others still want to hope.

Gotou goes to the Kougami Foundation to ask for a loan of 100 million! Sadly with all he has done for the company that is impossible because he only can get 75,000 yen. Kougami talks to Gotou about how he has changed over the time and how his desire for becoming Birth is becoming smaller, but Gotou says he is only training so he can use it well. Back to the villians it seems that Maki is going to keep any core medals he collects until the day they separate because he is planning to use one of the greeds for his experiements. There it seems that Lost Ankh is becoming more powerful and a change in emotion he used to be quiet, but he gets ticked off easily and even hits Gamel down to the floor.

Maki tells Date that only the two of them will try to fight OOO, Date tells Maki that he actually enjoyed being around him and asked him about why he wants to be a greed. Maki says that he was a greed ever since he murdered his sister. The next day Maki lures Eiji and Ankh to him by calling out the purple medals inside of Eiji. There they see that Date is going to fight them and Gotou comes in saying that he knows that Date is still good since he knows of his dream about helping countries that are behind in medical science and wants to build a school to help the people. Date says that is complete bullcrap and says he is just a greedy person and Gotou says he will stop him as Date transforms and the two stare off pointing their guns at each other. Date all of sudden turns to Maki and points his gun at him saying that he was paid to stop Maki from becoming a greed. There Maki activates a self destruct switch, but it seems Gotou removed it a while ago, but the greeds come out and ambush Date. OOO transforms into Sagohzo form and take the greed away, but Date is heavily injured.

Gotou talks with Date as he says that if Gotou will carry on for him he shall live on and to believe in himself and he dies in Gotou's arms. This gets Gotou snapped as OOO cannot hold his own facing the three greeds when it seems it is over Gotou comes out and transforms into Birth! It was epic seeing him becoming birth with the new theme Rebirth playing as Gotou was using everything including Birthday form to defeat the three greeds. There Ankh gets four core medals not sure what they were, but two were cheetar and tako.

Lost Ankh comes out and gets the greeds out of the scene as Eiji, Ankh, and Gotou return to Date's dead body... Oh wait he wakes up and it seems that he pretended to die, as Date gets 50 million from Kougami and with the 50 million he already got from Maki he has made his goal of 100 million! There Date leaves to go back to India (i think) and there we see Gotou saying that he will not say goodbye since he will meet him again.

I really liked this episode, first Gotou finally becomes Birth in an epic first fight and Date reaches his dreams. I was expecting a dark ending for Date, but i liked how he faked his own death becuase its just how Date is he is a goof at times. I really cant wait to see how Gotou will fight as Birth from now on.
